What to pack for a road trip?

There are many different things to pack for a road trip, so i have compiled a list of the most important things that you should never forget if planning a road trip by backpack or car. If you have already been on a road trip then you know that even if you prepare really well for it, you will always forget something that you’ll need at some point on a road trip. Even if you forget something, do not worry, there will be many people you can ask for help and believe me that you’ll be surprised by how many strangers can be nice and helpful. Maybe you can meet some friends down the road, i know i have met them. So here is the list with some description of the most important things you should pack for your next road trip:

A camera. While you travel, you see so many beautiful things like lovely nature, interesting people or maybe some weird place you want to remember. And you know what? If you don’t bring your camera with you, you’ll be very angry when you come back home and you have no photos to show to your friends, family or to post on your facebook profile.

A map or gps navigation is a must have on road trip, not that i underestimate your navigation skills, but every now and then you should check on a map where you’re going. Just to be sure that you are on the right track and you don’t get lost, as in many countries cities or human settlements can be very apart from each other, in some countries even more than 50 miles.

Snacks and water. Do not forget them. I don’t know about you but i’m hungry all the time, and bringing snacks and some bottles of water with me was the best choice i have made on the last road trip i’ve been.

These three are the most important things that i would recommend you not to forget, especially if you travel on your own only with backpack and public transportation. If you are planning a road trip with your car do not forget to have a full gas of tank and also some CD-s to listen to as it will get very boring in the car while driving some long distances on a highway.
